Recent board gaming has focus on a type of game that i’m not usually very keen on playing – the Co-op game – there are a number of well regarded Co-op games like:

These games have the same thing in common – the players have to work together to beat the game.
One of the newest Kickstarter Co-op games to come out was Aeon’s End https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/191189/aeons-end which has another on my favourite mechanics of deck building.
Last night we played the highest level of difficulty of ‘Extinction’ and managed to beat the Rageborne and Carapace Queen – ending the game just before the Nemesis was going to crush us
